Green is kind of whorish

Today is the Sus family day of sloth. No one has to be anywhere today, so we're all just lazing around the house. I have literally done nothing all day but fiddle with my LJ layout. After much deliberating I picked out a pretty new theme made by the wonderful grrliz_icons. I almost went with the Goodbye, Kelly Kapoor instead, but I decided in the end that it was too much pink. And I've also got a fancy new Office mood theme, too!

Yesterday we took the munchkin to Shrek 3. It was lame, ya'll. Even the kid was bored. At least we saw it at the Alamo Drafthouse so I was able to enjoy a delightful Five Dollar Milkshake while I watched (made with Blue Bell--yum!).

It's actually quite easy if you choose one of her layouts. She's got step-by-step instructions, which mostly just consist of cutting and pasting her css code into the right box. Much simpler than the last time I changed my layout, when I insisted on hand-coding all the css myself. Oy.

Go check out thefulcrum--she's got a lot of pretty and easy-to-use layouts to choose from.

Alamo Drafthouse!

I'm sure the technology on Shrek the Third was awesome, though. ;)

Yeah, the technology was awesome. I guess. FYI, the Alamo Drafthouse here does not have the plate of delicious cookies.

No delicious cookies? They should really remedy that.

Your new layout is beautiful but the mood theme is even better! I love it!

LJ show! LJ show! LJ show at lunch! Which is what I am getting right now. It's so pretty! I love these springy greens.

We saw Shrek a couple of weekends ago when our AC was still out and it was that or moan through the rip-off of Rear Window. I'm confused by the movie (fabulous technology aside, austin) because I can't understand why they make the choices they do. Princess Posse? Funny. Gingerbread Man? Always gold. So why are they subjecting me to many hours of Shrek's concerns about parenting? Odd. And I didn't even have a Five-Dollar Milkshake to help me through.
