But now, suddenly, she’s all into it. She’s torn through books two and three and half of four since Sunday afternoon and keeps accusingly asking me why we don't own Chamber of Secrets on DVD. Hopefully she won’t finish book six until I’ve finished book seven. Meanwhile, I, apparently, have gone from someone who waited for the newest book to come out in paperback, to someone who bought the newest book in hardback a few weeks or days after it came out, to someone who, this morning, waited in line at Barnes & Noble for 45 minutes to get a wristband for the midnight party tonight. I even briefly toyed with the idea of dressing up as Trelawney tonight, but thought better of it.
The following are my predictions for book seven: Harry doesn’t die. Hagrid and Draco Malfoy do. Snape sacrifices himself somehow to save Harry, thus proving to Harry once and for all that he’s not a bad guy. Sirius and Dumbledore will come back in some way, although I don’t think they’ll actually get to be alive anymore.
In non-HP news, I got my hair cut the other day and my bangs are too short. I HATE it when my bangs are too short. Blargh. On the bright side, we got a Wii yesterday. Fun! Also tiring.
Next week? Comic-con baby!
