Hey all! I'm back from partly-cloudy L.A.! I so wish I'd been able to stay longer. Had an amazing time visiting the girls. Saw Big Pussy at Jerry's Deli. Bought an awesome vinyl jacket at It's a Wrap (yes, I said vinyl--shut up, it's French), as well as cute t-shirts (one says "Bitch" and the other says "I love Jane Austen") and Kenneth Cole shoes. Went to Bride & Prejudice (the girls all LOVED it as much as I do). Was appropriately awestruck by Amoeba and bought gifts for hubby and munchkin plus Bride & Prejudice soundtrack for me. Not to mention the Lost panel Saturday night... So. Much. Pretty! *swoon*

Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Harold Perrineau, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Ian Sommerhalder, J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and Carlton Cuse were all at the panel. (Evangeline Lilly, Emilie de Ravin, Terry O'Quinn, Malcolm David Kelley and Maggie Grace weren't there.)

Everyone looked amazing and seemed to really get along with each other. Matt Fox (whose nickname is "Foxy") was dressed like a biker. Josh Holloway is every bit as hot in person as Sawyer and TALL! He's also very friendly and funny. He sorta plays off the Sawyer bad-boy schtick and is obviously having a blast with it. Jorge Garcia is adorable and just like Hurley. When someone asked who was the most like their character no one said anything until finally Jorge raised his hand and said, with Hurley-esque delivery, "Um, I guess that would be me." He and Josh were hilarious together and very chummy and goofy. Naveen Andrews is jaw-droppingly sexy in person and has a working-class South London accent, which is nothing like the English accents you've heard in most of his work. Harold Perrineau was working a jaunty hat and bright yellow pants and totally getting away with it. Dominic Monaghan was very cute, although he seemed like he might have been sort of tired.

Before the Q&A they showed the first half of the pilot. J.J. said he really would have liked to show us a new episode but couldn't because they didn't have anything ready, there not being a new episode coming out for several weeks. We were in the second row right across the aisle from where the cast sat during the episode. So close to the pretty! At some point Terri Hatcher snuck in and was sitting with the cast while they watched. Which is funny 'cause the Desperate Housewives panel was just a few days before and she wasn't at that one.

Most of the stuff covered by the Q&A was pretty standard stuff that's been said in interviews and such. J.J. did have some interesting info for us. For starters, the show is definitely staying in Hawaii (to which the whole cast cheered) and not moving to L.A. Also, J.J. confirmed that one of the main cast will die this season. They've apparently already shot it because he said they were just watching the footage last week (which means it happens before the finale). J.J. said it's very sad for everyone because they've all become such good friends and don't want to lose anyone. We tried really hard to read everyone's expressions to see if there was any hint of who it might be, but no such luck. They were all totally stone-faced while J.J. was talking about it. Until Jorge said that when he called his mom to tell her they were killing someone off the show she instantly cried, "Not Sawyer!" which totally cracked everyone up.

Also, J.J. said the season finale is going to be two parts. The first part is an hour and the second part will be an hour and half with the last half-hour mostly commercial free. Which means they'll have done a 24 1/2 hour season instead of the usual 22.

Um, what else? Naveen said it was nice to be on a show that doesn't insult the audience's intelligence. During casting Dom read for Sawyer and Bryan Burk teased that he wasn't man enough for Sawyer, to which Josh said, "Sawyer? Puleeez." Ian, Jorge and (I think) Daniel were the only ones who read for their characters. Jorge said afterwards he saw Ian in the parking lot and Ian told him, "See you in Hawaii, bitch."

I think that's most of the interesting stuff that I can remember. I took a few pictures during the autograph session afterwards, but it was a crazy madhouse so they're not great. I'll try to post them later today.
