But she came up with a really nice design for the room and we liked almost all of the furniture she recommended. We did decide to pick a few pieces on our own rather than go with all of her suggestions--we found a cool bookcase at Storehouse and some awesome pillows at Crate & Barrel for the couch. We've still got to find a rug and a lamp somewhere, plus some accent items. But we've got plenty of time because it's going to be another 6-8 weeks before our furniture arrives. Stupid slow custom furniture. Bah.
In other news, I'm all caught up with "Battlestar Galactica," with the exception of "Scattered," which they're re-airing soon so Frodo can record it for me. Man, does that show rule.
And it's a good thing, too, because summer television blows. I'm watching crap like "Wanted" and "Starved." Because I'm apparently so desperate for new episodes of anything that isn't reality television that I'll watch any ole crap they put on the air. I have, however, finally jumped on "The Amazing Race" bandwagon thanks to the Game Show Network. I've seen seasons two and three so far and am totally hooked. I wanted to watch it last season on CBS, but there was just no way I was going to miss "House."
