So, I'm currently toying with a couple of fic ideas and I have a couple of random questions I need help with...

1. Was there or was there not a BSG ep where Apollo was in the shower? If so, which one? Also, any other scenes that take place in the Galactica bathrooms/locker rooms would be helpful. (Can ya'll guess what this is for? *whistles innocently*)

2. I'm desperately in need of examples of famous love triangles in literature. Preferably two guys competing over a girl, a la Pretty in Pink, but, you know, older and in a book (or play).

In "Final Cut" he appeared to be coming OUT of the shower because he had that WEE towel that barely covered...well, anything. But I don't believe we've ever seen him in the shower.

Thank you! I knew I remembered a scene with an itty bitty towel and lots of skin. We need more scenes like that. LOTS more.

It does seem like it should be so easy, and yet... Nothing. All the ones I can come up with aren't particularly straightforward, like S&S or Darcy/Lizzie/Wickham in P&P. I keep thinking there should be a Shakespeare, but I'm drawing a blank.

God, I'm gonna have to use the John Hughes movie, aren't I?

Oh yeah! Duh! I can't believe this one didn't occur to me! Thank you!

A Midsummer Night's Dream has crossed-up lovers galore, could that be the Shakespeare you're thinking of?

Possibly. I know a lot of his comedies have tangled webs of relationships, but they're so convoluted they tend to be more like trapezoids than triangles.

The Count of Monte Cristo offers a great triangle. Two best friends, one send the other to prison to get the girl. Guy breaks out of prison to ruin the other's life, finds out he's the real father of the other's "son". Great stuff. However I don't have the book and can't give you the names. Rent the movie to get them.

Oooo, that sounds interesting. I've never read it, but I may have to give it a look. Thanks!
