I have Blue Bell King Cake ice cream in my freezer. All is right with the world. :)

The SAGs last night were eh. Mostly I was just so disappointed that Desperate Housewives won the Ensemble Comedy award over Arrested Development that it ruined the whole show for me. I mean--seriously--what is WRONG with people?

Grey's Anatomy, on the other hand, was one of the best episodes in ages. I want to marry George O'Malley. No, really. *loves* And Halfrek was Bailey's replacement! And she was awesome! Last week it was the Mayor on Bones, this week Halfrek on GA. I love it when Buffy alum show up on my favorite shows.

I feel like there was something else I was going to post about, but if there was I've forgotten it. Oh well.

George seriously is love. If I didn't have B, I'd want to marry George. Awesome!

Halfrek annoyed me, though. A little bit too much perk for me. Although the contrast between her and Bailey was certainly interesting. :)

She was way annoying at first, but I loved how she totally stuck it to Christina and Burke in the end.

Why do I not have a George icon? Must rememdy.

Squee! You found it!

I missed the first hour of the SAGs, so basically all of the TV stuff (though I caught snatches of it on the replay during GA commercial breaks). Pooh. However, even though he didn't win, there was much David Strathairn love, so...squee!

I was all prepared to drive to Brenham if I had to, but it was right there at the nearest grocery store. Do not supsect I am seriously considering having it for lunch.

You didn't much on the SAGs. And I suspect TNT will be re-running them ad nauseum anyway.

Was it just mcsister and me, or did the intro for Brokeback Mountain take away from the overall wonderfulness of the film? I just felt like Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal giggled and blushed and forced their way through an intro that could have been so much better. You'd have thought by the way they were describing the film that it was a satire about gay cowboys eating pudding. Weird.

It looked to me like Heath Ledger was drunk and Jake Gyllenhaal was embarassed for him. So many of the intros were bad, though, that it didn't really stand out that much.

Was Catherine Keener drunk, too? I got that vibe when she and PSH introduced Capote.
